It gives PC owners the chance to produce tracks of their own. It does not require any additional hardware, although it can be used to control midi equipment if required.
Many of the similar software apps currently available on the PC boast lots of extras but offer no where near the true flexibility given to the user, MED is very Flexible! MED Soundstudio gives the user total and full control over what is produced, allowing them to develop and become their own studio engineer. It allows the user full control over the MED ‘Module’ via a simple windows interface.
The quick editing facilities of the former Amiga versions remain in the MED Soundstudio for windows, along with all the other features that MED users have come to expect.
You can select to save your music out as a MED module for re-loading into MED itself, or for those contacts who do not use MED, they can simply play back your MED file via one of the many music players now available. Can be saved as a standalone self-executing file which only requires the end user to click to hear your music.
You can also save your music as a .WAV file, ready to burn directly to a CDR and now, with the new plugin addition, you can also select to save not only in the popular MP3 encoded file format, but also many others by selecting the 'out' dll's supplied with the famous WinAmp.
